Tech + Ed = Success: Our mission statement

The purpose of Tech + Ed is to support educators in their journey to incorporate technology into their classroom in a meaninfulway. While technology will NEVER replace a great teacher, it does support and assist them to make what they are teaching relevant and meaningful. We want to support your leap of faith into the technology and education realm by giving you one place to find tech resources that align with Bloom's Taxonomy levels of knowledge. State standards drive the curriculum and emphasis the level at which your students should be learning the information. Whether it is analyzing or remembering Tech + Ed will have the tech tools to further your lessons reach and therefore your students grasp of the content being taught.

Remembering Choose, Define, Label, Recall, Tell, Spell, Relate, Show, Select, List, Match By the end of this lesson students will be able to Define: the words, cell, cell wall, nucleus, Ribosome, and Mitochondrion.
Understanding Classify, Compare, Contrast, Demonstrate, Interpret, Summarize, Illustrate, Extend, Infer By the end of this lesson students will be able to: Compare an animal cell and plant cell and determing the differnce.
Applying Build, Construct, Interview, Organize, Plan, Solve, Utilize, Model, Develop By the end of this lesson students will be able to: Construct a plant or animal cell out of household materials.
Analyzing Classify, Discover, Examine, Inspect, Inference, Distinguish, Survey By the end of this lesson students will be able to: Distinguish a plant cell from an animal cell under a miscroscope.
Evaluating Assess, Conclude, Defend, Disprove, Interpret, Evaluate, Justify, Opinion, Support By the end of this lesson students will be able to: Evaluate their peers work over plant and animal cells and provide feed back on the research their peer has completed.
Creating Build, Change, Discuss, Formulate, Imagine, Improve, Construct, Test, Predict, Plan By the end of this lesson students will be able to: Discuss their findings with a biologist during a visit to a research center.
